Interesting car.
I had seen the auction but was not sure if it´s really a Lazer Lite car. I know they had 2-speed and also the damper system was used at their cars, also know their other pancars but never have seen this one.
Anyway I can´t buy all the cars I would like to and I´m sure this car will have a good home now.

Look at you, actually running a car here and there! ;) I remember seeing ads for these in RC Car Action. Interesting stuff. Cool to hear an RC car shift gears! I guess if you wanted true brakes, you'd have to rig up a mechanical brake and a tiny servo. Which would be interesting with a 3 channel radio... independent brakes and throttle... nah, probably just break something. Don't listen to me; I'm a bad influence.

That was what I liked about the electric conversion, you could keep a mechanical brake 8)

This thing has tires that feel like the cheapest foam you have ever seen, not very dense and dry as could be. The fronts are uber narrow. It still grips better than any pan car I have driven on a unswept rough street. I've driven 12e, 12i, 12L, 10L and tons of Bolinks and never had one that you could actually pull the trigger on without spinning violently. Pretty fun car I have to say. The only saddle pack I have is a old 2000 that has leaked and is pretty sketchy. I still don't know what turn motor this thing has but it's not terribly hot

And lastly, Mark if it wasn't for you and your crazy idea of putting the electronics IN the cars I would probably still be racing them on the shelves!
