Here is the engine for the Nitro Panda. It cleaned up really well. The piston, sleeve and connecting rod are in great condition. I am hoping that this engine will run well.

Here is the rear end of the truck. I elected to convert the drive from the pin type to the standard 12mm hex. I am hoping that it will make it much easier for me to find a set of rear rims with the correct offset. I ditched the rusty old tie rods and opted for some cheap turnbuckles as replacements.

Thanks guys. A well known Canadian racer and old friend Dave Henry has broke out some of his old boxes of stuff. He let me pick though and I found some old Kyosho rims with the correct offset. Now I have pretty much everything to complete this project. All that I need is a body and a front body mount and I should be good to go.

No truck is complete with out an engine. Here are some shots with the engine installed.

Sometimes what you find on ebay for 99p is amazing. I did have one of these with a full manual somewhere, and a MIckey Thomson version, and a Testarossa

Manual is uploaded, click the "My Garage" link in my sig, look under Documents>Panda. Its under construction so I just threw the button on there
