There is absolutely no copyright infringement if the company that originally produced these bodies (or anything) is out of business. That's assuming, too, that any of these items were copyrighted in the first place—which most hobby things aren't.
It's the same reason why you can see HPI and other companies all of a sudden release a car to market that is almost a carbon copy of a JConcepts BJ4.
You could copy any body on the market today with a back-fill and sell it as your own. It's not ethical or cool, but certainly not illegal in any way. Take a look at the Ride touring car bodies and a few others from Europe. They started out as someone else's...
I say if you repro something, make it as original as possible.
