I wont post a number, but I can PM you. The saving grace, you'd be surprised how little I paid for it, keeping in mind I've had it for 14 years. I should be able to get out of it what I will put into it.

There almost so nice, I don't want to mount rubber on them. Like jewelry. I really wanted to go with reproduction Goodyear tires E70-15, THAT'S RIGHT.... there's a HUGE repro market in 1:1 that makes RC re-re's look like ants, BUT damn they are F-ing expensive. For a consumable? $350 per? Really?

Maybe when I sell it. For the mean time Cooper $85.00 tires will get me around.

I saw some NOS 67-68 wheels sell for a BUNCH of cash a while back. Those look stellar-

Beautiful car (from the back end) and wheels, Jay!

I'm a little jealous that you're getting it running as I have a '70 Mach 1 that's been sitting in storage since '89. It was restored back in 1986 but the last I visited in 2007, it needs a lot of work to make it drive-able again. I'd probably consider getting the whole car restored again at some point.

maybe, but I plan on driving it a little bit. $1400 for a set of tires that will ultimately get replaced just doesn't make runner WC car sense, so the cheap alternative it is (pun intended). Not to mention the tread pattern on the 1960s series Goodyears sucks!!!! I'll get a correct set one day, just not right now.

People made the comments that BFG are a dime a dozen on all the Shelby/Mustang forums/FB groups and I couldn't find any Goodyears with RWL. To be brutally honest, I wanted to be different and I googled the sh&T out of images and the Cobra in the RWL kinda grew on me.

Here's a sample that ended up selling me on it (this is NOT my car)

also some of the RWL on some of the other brands I thought was obnoxiously LARGE. The Cooper's is somewhat small, at least compared to the others.

I had some similar to those on a 5.0 I had in the 80's. I think they look good. That's a decent affordable option.

Totally jealous about the car! :)

There is this old fart in the Mustang club here that shows up to shows in his... He is a doofus though. Wears black leather gloves when he drives it with his 70's style glasses and long sideburns. He had a scarf tied around his neck at the last show I saw him, LOL! I have a picture of him somewhere.... Its funny. I'll see if I saved it, LOL!

Some of the repro items for some cars are not bad in price... To me it seems to be the more rare the car is, the higher the price of the parts... Even if they are repro parts.
