So i can do some wet sanding then buffing and still looking for some prepreg,

The only thing I see the problem is that this is an very difficult item to make.
So many profiles that it's very hmm I couldn't find any right word for it.
When you laminate ~3mm carbon it has lot of epoxy in so if you start directly you have laminated the carbon the epoxy is very wet and that will give so some problem but it's easy to work with.
If you decide to work with the carbon after awhile you have lamineted the carbon then you don't have any problem anymore with the wetty epoxy then you have problem with the slicktly hard carbon cloth....
But it will for sure be interested to see how it turned up....

So for future readers. When I got to this step I had a failed pull. Basically no standard paint will work. An epoxy based finish is required to have a surface that is suitable from casting from.
