Not necessarily. Can fill the tank with oxygenated fluorocarbon liquid and the mouse wouldn't drown.

Didn't see that the rodent was attached to that on my phone, but I see it now on my PC.

I would never claim that goldfish have much intelligence or recall, but mine definitely know when I have their food in my hand walking toward them and when I don’t. I'm sure they'd never learn to control that thing, but the idea behind is really cool.

I agree too that a rat would be more interesting.
