Thanks for the the PM and your help.
For now, I'm going with the above wheels and tires since I already bought them but hey, they'll wear out someday

Maybe I'll give those a try next time.
Have any ideas for a front bumper, other than the stock nTC3 one (

Maybe this one

thats one thing I never addresed. I hacked the crap outta the one but never went any further

I'm not a big fan of aluminum bumpers since one hit and they stay that way but there are bumpers out there that can be modded to fit...just gotta find the right one

Those tires and wheels look perfect on there! That car should be able to handle some serious abuse.

Looks good and it makes me even happier to have another person on the books that I have helped out.
If there is anything else you may need, you know how to reach me, now get this car finished

Thanks Jake. Hopefully I'll have it running by next weekend. I just need to tap the holes in the motor mount, swap in the .56 stroke shock shafts, mount the esc and receiver, and wire it up. I ended up buying a 4600 kV Sidewinder for it, should be pretty fast.

IT LIVES!
I drove it around the street for about 5 minutes in the dark last night

It's pretty fast and handles great considering I haven't dialed it in yet. The acceleration is "bat out of hell."
Still left do do:
Rebuild shocks with .56 stroke shafts
Antena mount
Make new front bumper
Replace suspension pivot balls with titanium ones
Buy and paint new body (still planning to go Porsche 911)

I rebuilt the shocks with the longer shafts and put in the lightest springs from my ft set and took it to the track on Saturday night. I took it off a couple pretty big jumps and it flies nice and level. The main problem I had with the car on the track was that the front bumper was plowing into the ground a lot since its basically level to the ground. I have plans to make a bumper that sweeps upward. Other than that it handled the track surprisingly well. The guys at the track were all flipping out over it when they saw me running it, since it looks like a touring car (for now still running the Crowd Pleaser body).

You've done a really nice conversion on that TC3. Nice and clean. Would love to see some video footage.

Maybe I'll video it one of these days.

That looks great!

I have a TC3 Factory Team NIB that I've never bothered to build. Kinda makes me think I should. I really like the way that looks.
