Futaba commissioned Tamiya to design and produce them vehicles in which could be sold under their name. They only produced two models before the partnership ended for whatever reason.

The FX10 was based off the Striker with some minor improvements/changes but still considered entry level.

The FXT was based off the Stadium Blitzer with extensive improvements/changes to be on a more race truck level.

As Lowgear said. With the extra holes in the chassis, like the extra slotted servo mount holes further back and extra trans holes in the rear it makes you wonder what they may have had brewing. With a ball diff and 48 pitch gears it was surprising they had fixed buckles, bushings, and direct steering. Still a huge upgrade but lots of untapped area

The parts trees sometimes reference "Riko" and also a model number 95802. Other than that and the "very-poor-compared-to-Tamiya" assembly manual you'd never know it wasn't a Tamiya

It kinda looks like a cross between a Blitzer and an Astute

Since a few of y'all haven't really seen these beasts I decided to snip some pics of the rcca review, November 1992

The first 10 years of rcca are in my sig, under my garage.

Had to use a couple Tamiya parts, couldn't source the futaba versions. Not that it matters, they are identical. Some of the very few that are though. Tires are also tamiya but also identical to stock

I had to buy stadium blitzer wheels for now, one day I hope to find rear wheels. I may try to see if they will take dye, they need to be dark gray!

Just need to clean up the shocks and decide what to do about the body. It has one, in good shape too. It's painted green with black splashes. Grrrrr

well crap...didn't know you were missing the rear wheels. The fxt wheels are by far the coolest wheel ever to come stock on any stadium type truck I've seen IMO. If I had a set of rears I could spare I'd send them off to you :(

Well, until I source the rest of the parts (rear wheels, shock plastics, servo saver, body)....This is how she will be sitting

I didn't paint the body...I also don't HATE it, but I really like the box art look

Hope you can source everything else you need. Looks great. Box art would be awesome though.

And that's a crazy archive of RCCA, did you scan those yourself?

It's from the huge zip file that's floated around for years with all the ads removed. I have hosted them on my site (slowly building it so be gentle!). Click the "my garage" link in my sig and they are in the RCCA tab. Most can be viewed without downloading, but feel free to grab any or all you want!

What parts are you looking for maybe I might have a extra, I ordered some extra parts years ago as I kept breaking them or losing them.

Just the plastic parts bags for the shocks- I would use stadium blitzer but they are the wrong color- and mine aren't all that bad
