Without looking at them, first thing that comes to mind is maybe one is for lexan and the other isn't.

found the color flor red. matches perfect. doing the touchup now will post pics when done.

well the cars all done. replaced all the incorrect rod ends with the traxxas ones, touched up the flor red paint stripped the white and repainted the body. iam not really a big fan of traxxas cars/trucks but i do like this car i dont love it though, thats why i didnt spend $40 on a new tbg body and just cleaned this one up. overall it looks pretty good

Car looks great!
I have 2 I am working on, one black and one white. I just got some nicer (TRX3) wheels on my white one.
Bodies will be next but probably only from TBG.
