No probs Mike. It's good to re read the old mags and refresh the memory.

Those wings are cool. Do you have to come up with your own mounting system for them?
Will use stock mount, on 1 Scorpion, will use the Turbo Scorp mount on another.
On an SRB I will use Buds wing wire kit and brass tube with brackets soldered to it to mount to the roll bar, Thorp sold these back in the day, have pics to go by.

MIP B100 ball diff. I contacted MIP to confirm if this was their first production diff for the SRB. They couldn't confirm if it was. It predates the BN100 and the B200 models. There was also a miter gear diff (G100) available alongside this model.

I've included the diff instructions here. Have a look at the replacement front end at the bottom of the page. A wishbone setup to replace the trailing arms. Woot!

Cool stuff. :D

It does. To fit it you have to modify the diff output shaft hole on the left half of an SRB gearbox and the left hand universal as per the instructions. The white teflon bushing is 11mm outer diameter and is the "bearing" for the modified side. A standard 5x11 bearing fits on the right hand side.

Here's a cool piece I thought you guys might like to see. This style MSC was commonly used in SRBs bitd. I've pieced together a couple for my cars, but was really stoked to find this one in the original pack.

The SRB's have a very scale appearance which also makes them a pig to drive. To get them competitive you had to basically replace most of the buggy with aftermarket parts. Below are some of my cars and I will do my best to describe the hop ups.

RCH aluminum chassis
RCH suspension arms
RCH rear Brass suspension mounts
RCH Hardened front suspension pins
MRP lexan radio box.
Thorp ball diff and spur gear.
Delta shocks and CRP shock towers.
Pro line wheels with RCH wheel covers.

RCH aluminum chassis, RCH wheel covers, RCH coil overs dampers and RCH brass main gear.
CRP aluminum rear cage, CRP heavy duty suspension pins, CRP rear axles and ball races.
Race Prep tubular steel front bumper.

MIP 4X-100 4WD kit, trailing arms, gearbox with ball diff and drive shafts.
Delta dampers.

Stop it shodog! You're making me feel bad about my cars. You've got some awesome rides in your collection!

Anyone know who made these? Thorp maybe? :? They aren't a metric thread, so most likely a U.S. company.

And back to te MSC stuff, here's some individual parts packaged separately.
They aren't too hard to piece together if you need to.

Snapped a pic of this too while digging through a box of parts. I didn't know these were also sold by KP until recently. I've got several used, but the only other NIP I've had was Bolink.

Wut. Pin is hidden by the axle shaft in the pic. You can see the hole for it on the back side in the pic. So back to the original question... Anyone know who made these?
