I've left my hard copy of the manual at work but looking here
http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=82&t=29624 there's no reference to drilling anything, but my Japanese is so I can't read it. But I'm sure the other set of instructions that I have coming are in English so should be able to tell.

I checked the white bulkheads in my parts box, and they appear to have a 4mm hole molded into the bottom, that just misses from protruding onto the top side. Im thinking this is where the 91 cars mount their top decks through.

Thanks! You guys really motivate me. Im hoping to have a works 91 replica here soon. Got most of the hardware,, working on the flat plate parts.
For a runner, I don't imagine it will make a difference. You'll just have to design the upper deck to run around the body mount post that exists on some of the rear bulkhead caps, and to make those screw holes slotted to allow for belt tension adjustment. The only problem I can see is that the bulkhead cap screws are smaller in size (2mm thread) and may not "grab" onto the upper deck as strongly as the original, thicker (I think 3mm thread) screws used on the Works.

I managed to get a bit of spare time last night and get stuck in to the 92. After a bit of a strip and a clean I've added a new front tower, front diff, bulkhead cap, servo saver, driveshafts and of course the carbon chassis.
All the parts are NIP thanks to Alian3t for that
When I'm done I'll get a pic with all the header cards.
I wanted to change the chassis as the original one hasn't got a mark on it and I wanted it to stay that way, and I really like the carbon one
I'm also going to get some carbon towers and lipo holders from rccars4sal as he's done a great job on the chassis.

Thanks guys. I didn't fancy sticking the servo down and getting both the servo and the chassis caked it crap plus it should be more sturdy than just tape.
And yes Coelacanth the front C hubs are Suzuki and I've got some tears to put on and some wheel adapters

Hi Justin,
Great job, nice build! ...but I'm not sure if you will be happy with that floating servo mount. It flexes too much that way. I'm thinking about using the good, old, non-Floating sevo mounts on my b44.3. A lot of people, even Associated team drivers, are replacing the floating servo mount on their b44.3...

The problem I've got for that is you can't bolt it down both sides so it needs to be floating. If there is too much movement then I can always tape it down as well to add a bit of stability.

yep, i'd recommend a small square of servo tape on the outboard side. with that, should be bulletproof.
