Hi guys,

The bearing in the RC10ST or 7001 clutch hub is # 6909, 3/16 x 5/16 x 1/8.

The 7001 10T manual gives you # 6906, at the Team Associated site that number comes up as a

3/16 x 3/8 x 1/8 (front wheel bearing size).

or in the Team Associated RC10T exploded view online # 6901, in the Team associated parts list,

no such number.

I think mine are like the top picture. They have a bearing in them but I don't know the size. I'll measure it tonight. I definitely have the thrust bearing assembly from the top picture. I don't have the red slipper pads. I've got a bunch of the yellows. You've got me curious about them now.

Mine are 3/16" x 5/16" x 1/8".

Here is where this thread goes to crap. While waiting for my silver anodized screw set I bought racing parts and started building a runner. I will still continue to acquire parts for a replica build and post both build picks on this thread.

Here is an update, this is my runner
I got the blue rear motor guard to tie in with my racers paint scheme, the blue screw and gold mini nuts helps too.

Oh yeah, glad I had these dust cover instruction to guide me along

As crazy as it sounds I've seen someone use those dust covers with the ball cups that have the hole in the top of them

nothing about this steering geometry makes sense at all. I thought the NIX racing bellcranks were longer. The Lunsford turnbuckles are at minimum length too. Looks like I will be ordering the other style of NIX racing bellcranks.

Those are for a standard rc10. There are 2 bellcranks for the stealth car. Standard and race versions.

That's right. Those are not for NIX91 car. You can mount them in a RC10 much better.

This NIX91 runner build has taken a turn today. Here is a photo of it this morning
I went to visit Rod at the shop and ended up at his place after he got off work. This pile to the right of the NIX91 is what I ended up coming home with
A B4 roller that will be scavenged for a couple different runners I have including the NIX91 and a heaping pile to go along with it. The build is not even going to resemble it's current look, it's going to turn out so nice it's going to be hard to run, but it WILL be.

Different electronics will be in place too. I've got a bunch of rearranging to do with a couple different builds to get this one complete. I will show some more detailed pics as I go along.

Technical notes are typical of the other builds. The trans brace had to be shimmed and the top plate front holes had to elongated slightly to relieve stress on the chassis. The 4-40 holes were reamed with a #30 bit. I used a 1/8" to ream the pin hole, but I wished I had something just a hair thicker. The parts don't move completely free and will ream them again with something else once I know what to use.

I used a .127 ream and felt they were a tad loose. Maybe a .126

This may sound stupid but it worked really good for me. I took and old truck hingpin and put a small diagonal nick in it with some linesman pliers. Chucked it in a drill and reamed the hole a couple times. Worked good for me...
