Hi Peter,

You can use everything between the 6565 and 6564 cases but the idler.

If you do want to use the later idler and shaft you will need 2 more bearings for the old 6565 cases.

Some one must know where there is a pic of the two side by side. :?:

Cheers, Dave. :)

In my video you can kind of see the differences, but the video mainly shows how crappy the new case is

New concern... Rereading this thread, I get the idea that rc10 axles are 1/4" and that CVD axles are 3/8" so I can't run rc10 back wheels if I go with CVD? Do I have that right?

on edit: I see that there is a 1/4" CVD kit also. So if I want worlds CVD, with r 10/wheels I get this o e?

Pick your wheels, then buy the CVD, bearings, and hub carriers to match.

Already have JC racing rc10 2.2" wheels. So should I use the part numbers from the old 1994 worlds manual?

The jc are 1/4" so buy the cvd's for 1/4", leave the carriers and bearings you have in place. Alternately you can run the world's hub carriers and buy 1/4x3/8 unflanged bearings if you want.

things that you are looking to update would be these. the original worlds manual would have all the part numbers necessary to let you know what you need, should be able to download direct from associated.

upper camber link and toe-in (rear arm mounts/hubs) will have the most drastic change. cvds do change driving dynamics but probably not enough to notice.
just did a little double checking....

the rear arm mount part number for the rere worlds is the same part number as the rear arm mount for my 30yo classic. is it possible/probable that they simply used the same part number but altered the geometry? i will say that that rere world's manual specifically says to use the front holes for installing the mounts.
