Picked up the B6D this past weekend.

I had bought the B6 laydown to see if I could mount it in my B5M easily, but the holes for the transmission don't line up without re-drilling the chassis. They holes are so close I decided it wasn't worth risking ruining the B5M, which I just bought a couple months ago.
The electronics were donated from my SC10, which I don't race any more, and a 6.5 Novakl Vulcan I bought on clearance. The 6.5 is over kill, but it was originally purchased for a 4wd buggy that has not been released yet.
Now I will have two 2wd buggys to race on Sunday instead of racing one buggy in two classes(17.5 & mod).

Got mine about a week ago. Still haven't painted the stock body.

Stock body... pfft, it is un-needed! That looks sweet, I can't wait for someone to shoehorn a viper on theirs.

Funny you should mention the viper body, I have one that I'm going to use on this chassis also, just haven't figured out a paint scheme yet. Probably go with the tq10 box art. The viper actually fits better on the chassis than the protect.

You could always take and force the modern b6 paint scheme to fit the old viper body
