Not if you want the "regular" one, which is the way I'd go. It would have one less slipper pad, the *correct* top shaft, and different slipper disks. Err, wait a second, I thought you had an RC10, not a B3????

The RC10 with a stealth needs these to upgrade to a B4 slipper, same goes for your truck you just got.

These do NOT have to be vented:

Yeah, the B3 will be the test mule I want to upgrade the slipper on.
I'm going to keep the rc10 on NIMH batteries.

I got the car in today. I'm really impressed. Nice original boxes a few extras , everything in really good shape.
It's a time capsule, and once I replaced the controller battery pack and threw a nicad in it everything worked.

But oh god is it slow. I could outrun this thing. I don't know what that little purple motor is, but it came with a reedy conquest so I may try that out.

I took the controller apart and repaired the antenna, then I used the original instructions to program the ESC with the transmitter.

The motor was a 12 turn and it appears to have been wired backwards. I repaired some soldering on the reedy and installed it.

And success. The reedy motor runs like a champ.

Good to hear it runs. Now go see the reason why the b3 is one of my personal faves 8)

Swapped the original tires back on and painted a new body.

So, I'm getting a one tire fire situation, a violent one.
I'm going to pull it apart and take a look at the wheel bearings and diff to see if I can figure it out.

I have several of these cars and absolutely love them. What I would recommend it that if possible use a shorty lipo pushed all the way up, then place the esc behind it. This places everything in the center of the car. I'll attempt to post a pic of what in talking about. Great looking car btw.

Yes. I have the esc mounted on the rear shock tower because if is too tall for the body and the sensored motor cable is short. Interesting idea with a short battery. Got any part numbers?

And thanks, I think it looks pretty good. I've got the new bumper on in the last picture.
