Sorry to hear about your cat, pets do become a part of the family and complete it. :(

When we had to put our 10 year old dog down that was the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life.

What was his name?

Take care,
-Mark

Hi RJ,

You did a very noble deed and a cat that was a little rough around the edges made you his best friend. You brought him home and showed him kindness, and he returned in kind. I saw this article and thought of you and your family.

When the time is right please bring home another friend in need. Its truly the best way to honor their memory and create new ones.

I hope this helps.

Mark

Sorry for your loss. Condolences.

They start out as pets but become so much more than that.

Sorry to hear this. Pets really become part of the family and it's always hard to see them go.

Very sad. :( Pets are family, and help us get through each day!

Thanks everyone for the kind words, I will pass on your condolences.

Rocca was his name.

Luckily he didn't suffer and passed peacefully in his bed. We will eventually get another cat but as limestang said "when the time is right." He did make us his best friend and his friendship will live on with me forever.

SiRacer420 - Make the most of every day with your cat, I would give anything to have one more day with mine.
