Good to know on the RX antenna length, I must have missed that in the manual.
Has anyone had any problems with spektrum reception in really short range situations?
I've had some reception isues with bench testing that went away after the car was put on the ground a few feet away

Was the TX antenna pointing up during close range testing... oddly enough, it makes a difference.

I don't recall, I'll have to try it out and see if I can replicate it.

i got a couple spektrums (dx2 and a dx3), and a react.

the spektrum (horizon hobbies) radios are really nice and simple, the ones i have are 3 model memory.
the react is a bit more complex but its pretty wild the things you can do with it.

i would totally recommend the 2.0 for a super simple 2 channel system, but if i was in the market i would look at similarly priced futaba dss. i just plain and simple like futabas way of putting stuff together. ;)
