well after being let down by rc supplier on ebay i finally got my money back and reordered the parts from wheelspin models they arrived but unfortunatly dont fit

dont know if its clear from the photo but the hole in the stub axle is too close to the face of the bearing so it doesnt line up to put the pin thro the hex adapter,i used shouldered bearings as ide read somewhere on the internet this was what to use could they be the problem ?

Those look like re release rear arms. If so, they use 6mm x 10mm x 3mm non flanged bearings unlike original arms which use the flanged bearings.

thanks again guys.well spotted they are rere arms probably should have mentioned that :oops: ,sounds like its the cause of my problems (they really ought to ban idiots like me from using t'internet) ordered some unflanged bearings hopefully they will sort it, if not its gonna be dremel time :shock:

yes the unflanged is needed sometimes just on the inside part so dont haft shim so much on the outter one :lol: DON

got my unflanged bearings fitted and jobs a goodun, so its now sat on modern wheels will post some pics when ive sorted a body,thanks again chaps!
