I have one near me that is very similar. Mostly Traxxas stuff, never really has anything I need. Although my stuff is out of date. Never acknowledges you when you walk in the door, half the lights are always out making you thing they are closed. And I have worked in several hobby shops in my time so I have a certain expectation.

Most all brick n mortar shops are struggling against the online places. And yes many folks lack a shop or one that has anything. We have two decent RC shops in Indianapolis. Yes they are Traxxas heavy, thanks to the Slash being the hot thing locally. But the also carry the other major brands in stock, as well as parts. One shop even has an indoor track. The track action seems to drive his sales with Slash bashing and on road cars dominating parts and new car sales.
