Yeah I know we can all be guilty of not using it occasionally but it seems like people aren't trying at the moment.
I don't mind the "shot" because here at RC10talk.com, the Search function is absolutely useless. I've spent a lot of time searching for topics that I KNOW are here, using keywords that I know are in the threads, and it comes up empty 90% of the time. That's more of an issue with phpBB more than anything else, though. I wind up having to search manually through individual forums to find certain posts or discussions, and it's a massive waste of time.
This forum and HobbyTalk are the two most difficult forums to search because of technical issues.

Use Google to search this site or any site. Go to "advanced search" and input your parameters, then specify RC10Talk.com as the "only" site to be searched. Works pretty good.
Clodtalk has the same issue with a bad search engine, go figure, same software.

That's a great idea. Completely forgot about that.

Not a

He wasn't as helpless as you think... hell he'd kill you and your whole family if left to his own devices!

I am also finding it annoying when n00bs point out members auctions here.
Oh and another thing n00bs we have a search function...
I find it annoying that any time a new member joins this site, you're referring to them as a
n00b. I think a site like this would
want to encourage a new member to join here and there. I find it annoying that just because someone has a smaller postcount than you, suddenly you are smarter than them. Somebody like Jammin' Jay could join the site tommorrow but it makes him an idiot cuz he has one post and you have 1200, right?
Or maybe I'm just annoyed at the fact that when I first joined and I won a sidewinder body in an auction you sent me a PM trying to get me to trade it to you for something I could buy anywhere... because n00bs are stupid, right?
Rant over.

I wouldn't take the hazing too seriously, Badillac. I figure as long as you contribute to the forum somehow and adapt to how people interact around here, you'll grow out of your n00b status pretty quickly.
I've been a guest here since this forum had less than 100 members. Never had the guts or time to join until recently. These members all seem like down to earth, knowedgeable people that aren't afraid to share information or a little brawl now and then.

Given the well-known wealth of information available on this site, and I'm definitely not trying to tell you or anyone else how to act, I think it would be a shame if bridges were burnt over a few little jabs in the ribs. I'm sure you have knowledge that we could all benefit from, as well as the knowledge others can share with you.
Look after only a few months of joining, the big chiefs made a special section for you and all others who want to share ebay info:) I mean that in a good way. On the subject of pointing members auctions out, I've definitely been in the crossfire before, but I don't take it personally. It's all in good fun. IMO
By the way, I'm much lower on the n00b totem pole than you , and "darn" proud of it
