I have the same chassis as the one in the first picture, with Andy`s a-arms in the front, and trailing arms in the rear. It also has the original 6 gear tranny. Are there a-arms that will work with the chassis?

I'm not positive, but I think standard type rear arms (Associated, Andy's, RPM, etc.) would fit fine (or so it looks in the second pic I posted on page 1). If a rear arm mount lines up with the chassis holes, you're probably all set.

Would it be worth it to switch out the trailing arms?

I guess it depends. If the car will be a runner, the standard arms would probably be better. In addition, you don't want to damage the trailing arms or the chassis (mounting points).
If it was going to be restored as a display piece, I would definately keep the trailing arm suspension. You can probably find a ton of graphite chassis rc10s with the standard arms, but the trailing arm set up is getting pretty rare.
my thoughts/opinions....

I`m not sure if its going to be possible or not...the guy I bought it from doesn`t believe the stock rear a arms will work..I have them, and the 2 mounting holes line up, but he thinks the "upper link" may not have a place to mount...
Is carbon/graphite the same thing? I believe this has a full carbon chassis...and it has andys a-arms in the front..also has the original 6 gear tranny..
I don`t plan on restoring or racing it...just tossing the sidewinder/5700kv in it, taking it to the beach and bashing in the sand, hitting small jumps, etc...

That's an early MIP trailing arms setup...you might want to reconsider its fate with that BL setup. You've probably got a few PM's I guess...

Hmmm...no PM`s here...

well, I just sent you a PM
Looking at the picture, it looks like a standard chassis with the MIP suspension.
You should be able to use the standard a-arms for the rear. The only thing you may have to do is to drill a hole in the rear bulkhead (if there is no hole). From the photo, it looks like the previous owner cut the sides of the bulkhead.
Good luck with your project.

ya, i think i'd swap that mip trailing arm setup for a pair of standard a-arms.

That conversion always looked a little fragile to me.
