I’ll send you a PM with my email

The Beagle has had a refurb with some flysky 2.4 and and an esc to replace the acoms, and refitted the original wheels. (anyone recommend good chrome paint or should I just take them back to black plastic). bound some Fsky as-a3's at £6 a pop to both the zerda and Beagle which will run off the same controller.
Tarting it up with some stickers printed on glossy adhesive paper, lets face it the bodyshell's a bit knackered and patched up. If I put enough stickers over it no one will know.
The original shocks were leaking badly even with new o rings so these short ones fitted on the original front mounts and a modified position on the rear hubs. Seems ok running 6on the flat.

apologies for any offence to RC10 purists.

Well the beagle and hirobo zerda have a new stable mate. The hirobo rockn city rolling chassis undergoing refurb. And revisiting the issues of hubs and wheels. I thought I'd found a fix if beagle hex adapters fit the hirobo axles. Close but no cigar. Hirobo axles are slightly thicker than the beagle so although the beagle hex adapter could be made to fit the hirobo zerda or city it's stil a filing job. So staying with the option of hex adapters easily available for a few quid filed to ride up the tapered hirobo axle.

The beagle got its first strip down for many a day. So removed some crud and now I know the motor is a buggy special brown dot 27t 22swg according to the label. The dust cap was holding powdered brush material so I left it off. That should improve any heat dissipation and cooling?
Replaced two missing grub screws, one in a drive shaft so it was only the tight fit preventing power loss through the diff.
The back end still seems noisy but is that the chain drive compared to the quiet hirobo drives on my zerda and rockn city.
At least all the gears looked in good nick. Apart from the friction I found on the gear driving the chain/diff gear. Is it possible that side plates shouldn't be overtightened?
Maybe another strip down will include polishing components but I'd have to get my anorak on to do that.

Yup, read the manual, only tighten side plates til bolts flush and seal with thread lock. Doh!

I'm still chuffed at picking up bodyshells cheaply and now the Beagle sports a flashy top. Ok not pukka but no worse than putting an Optima body on the GV clone. Just a basic 'mod'

Found the GV Models logo on the internet along with other logos to print off.
Also the same body style on the Hirobo Rockn City refurb makes a nice pair for the mantle piece! (I don't think 'her indoors' will go for it)

The stock body for the beagle is plug ugly , this makes a good runner body ,maybe a little modern but better than stock or naked !

Agreed, the stock Beagle body is a real mutt. Anything is better.

And the same body in a different colour on the Hirobo Rockn City until something more authentic shows up.
