i have A&l bones/axles/cups, just deciding if they will be on the racer or the looker. If I do sliders, they will be 'new' black ones, not vintage white/dyed yellow & metal on the trans side. I dropped some horrid purple ones on there just for the picture to hold the wheels.

So A&L dog bone kit it is :) also the A&L slipper set up. Just waiting for some parts to arrive to do the last finishing touches, electronics will be installed here in a little bit. Trimmed and mounted the body, put the B5M wing mounts on the Factory Works tower and trimmed up the wing. Losi axles in the Traxxas front carriers with B3 wheels, thin hex (4~5mm I didnt measure) and B4.2/5/6 rear 12mm hex wheels. I was going to do a 12mm hex front conversion, but this works just perfectly for now. I have plenty of tires on B3 fronts from my RC10s :) 12mm AE big bore springs on the factory shocks, vintage A&L steering up front, vintage Lunsford turnbuckles with Losi balls/cups to round it out. Factory Works battery strap coming soon.

I was going to do electronics, but got looking over the white parts for the sparkly build and it just kinda fell together :)

I need to clean a few more parts, assemble the trans after going through the bearings. I have wrong hardware in a few different spots that needs to be fixed and was missing metric nuts, so some things are just sitting in place lookin' pretty. Yep, I let some vintage air out of a Tecnacraft turnbuckle bag today...

that's a LOT of traxxas goodness on this thread!!! Lovely 80's color schemes, paint jobs, dies, and all...

Yes, AE caps fit on trx shocks, there isn't much threading available though, so be careful.

Other solution if you don't like the blue cap accents is do deano them with over cleaner, bare aluminium looks good with any color and nice shiny hardware :)

No spare bumpers that I can help with, I'm sorry :(

Who did that sparkle chassis for you?!? I love it!

Can't wait to see the final stable!

And, yes, we all know how projects multiply like little rabbits... and parts cars... and runner cars... and shelfers... and cars then for sale... all of the same, but never all 100% complete... we know the drill

DA Graphite, the same company who did the Dukomo (sp?) and HPI stuff, he still has it in stock!

The slash shock caps are too large for the 'stock' shocks :) 10mm VS 12mm I want to say, but either way, no worky :(
