Any top secret tuning tips for next year? It is time to lift the secret cover off your factory backed Manta Ray racing efforts.

Beside what I had listed earlier:

30w oil up front, losi dark green springs
30w oil in rear, silver kit springs

(putting my TamiyaDan hat on :mrgreen: )

The MR is truly a great compromised platform for the time, what let it down (same for the top-force) was the absence of slipper, which was bumming the performance AND credibility of the whole thing, let alone those silly childish bodies... The car has a sweet balance, though, and it's tough as nails. Congrats for the good showing!

And maybe it was ahead of it's time. We all run slipper eliminators these days :lol:

The Terra Conqueror/Blazing Star have a normal-ish body.

And it's tough as nails as long as:

- you don't put in too hot a motor (at least not without doing the "reinforced rear gearbox cover"-mod).
- you don't hit something hard head-on while using the stock plastic shock towers (the front one will snap).
- you don't overtighten the yellow CVA shocks.
