Very nice.

The drill mod on the rear gearbox is only "necessary" if you use the stock self-tapping screws. They tap a new thread each time you screw them in, and so with enough use, there's no more thread to tap and so it fits loosely. If you just use standard M3 screws from the start, then this mod is not necessary.

Those shorter shock towers are pretty interesting. Where did you get them?

The o ring will fit lcg and normal shorty Lipo

The tower came from Nick Walker who is on the top force Facebook group

Thanks for the positive feedback!

Did this ever get raced, curious as to how it held up? I have my first Top Force build on the way and it will be carpet duty as well.

What wheels are those? Schumacher? Tires look Schumacher? Any other carpet set up tips? I was going to run the lower aluminum front gearbox.

Yes Schumacher tyres , staggers on the front and cactus rear

I’ll use the new fusion tyre on the front probably

Wheels are yokomo ones

Just low ride height, gear diffs with a thick grease (I use Tamiya anti wear grease) and stiff shock set up

Do you know yokomo wheel part numbers by chance? That way I won't waste money on wrong offset 2.2 wheels?

Also, the gear diff's are part # 50529 correct? Do you need different outdrives as well and part # as well?

And finally, what is the one way layshaft you mention? Tamiya 53071? Hard to find if so.

Thank you.

Yes 50529 is the gear diffs and I took the one way out was want 4 wheel braking on carpet

Tbh if youre buying wheels just use the stock ones as they are the right off set, I had to mess about with different hex’s etc

Oh for some reason I though the stock wheels were not true 2.2 for modern tires, good to know. Are you using foam in fronts, I know we do not here on the 2wd front black carpet I run.

Yes we run inserts in the front of the 4wd carpet tyres
