Thanks!

Much appreciated!

orangemazda wrote: Sat Dec 21, 2019 9:00 pm There are two different lengths of axles for these CVD’s. There are the short two “stripe” and the longer three “stripe”. I used the longer axles as pictured which allowed me to shim the inside or outside of the hub as needed.

I actually used new Kyosho bearings front and rear. They are the exact same size as the Radiant ones.

I am also working on one and was wondering about which CVD and wheel setup to use. You mentioned Kyosho axles. Did you use axles and wheels for the Optima?

Very cool buggy!
Excellent thanks! Did you have to change the bearings width or they fit just right? Thanks for the info, that really helps.

i'm a few years late here, but this is a great build. thanks for sharing this and providing details on parts used. I'm working on getting my well used and loved Radiant back to running after sitting in a box for 30 years. i'll be doing the diff mod as well as making a custom top plate and hopefully addressing the poor steering response.

you have set a very high bar, not only is it functional, it looks fantastic.
