So from the start I knew this guy was only going to be about 95% accurate due to the difficulty or price for some items. So this is all up, the chassis is finished with electronics. There are things that are just a bit off, but good enough for me. On to the paint, which should be fun. I beleive there is still debate on the true color of the 'red' on the body, several good authorities have conflicting information, whether it's red, orange, fluoro red or fluoro orange. I'm leading towards red, but want to make it more of a tomato red, so planning to 1st coat with candy orange and follow up with red. I made some test coupons and like how it appears unless someone knows FOR SURE what it should be. I think I have the correct metallic blue.

That looks fantastic! :D

The bare aluminum around the top of the tub is such a great detail!

Perfect right down to the placement of the wires.
This isn't simply a replica of Cliff's car, it's a CLONE!
I wonder if Cliff ever frequents this site. He really should see this one -- I think he would approve.
Awesome work Joe :!: :!:

Thanks all! Yeah the paint and decal application were quite nerve wracking. Then I was so happy how it turned out I took it to VONATS but never followed up with photos.

I'm very satisfied how it turned out. I would like to get the shocks a little closer and have a couple of plans. Hoping to stumble into the early springs at some point in the future.

It's definitely a labor to get all the details correct. There are quite a few things not spot on, but really really close.
