so in the same fog as me... but I'm sure you can answer this: is this necessary to mount the Proline rims?

And I thought I was old. JH is using a NOVAK 1. The receiver I cant remember but I think it is a futaba. Servo is a S132H. That was the only HS available then.

The only things remaining to find are the lateral white Reedy modifieds stickers, the front black Proline 1,5'' rims and the dye job for the front JG bumper... any help would be greatly appreciated

I've now found the Pro-Line 100-F rims (unfortunately the gold ones, but that will do until I can get my hand on black ones, I inverted the inside with the outside of the rims so they mimic the model the most they can) Many thanks to Scr8p for the tires

Looking great. 8)

Oven cleaner will take the gold right off those wheels, and then you'll have black wheels. I tried it on a used Clodbuster bumper and it came off real nice. Shiney black plastic under there.

   yes I do, but still they look great like that, it's always a pain for me to modify NIP vintage parts, especially when they have that cool look... now if i strip the rims, I'll also have to dye the bumper black
