Never heard that song before and I never want to. Blech!
You didn't even make it to the annoying part.

Just for posting that link, I'll probably have it stuck in my head for days.

Very cool, learned something new today!

I have some updates! I had a bit of a change in part choices because, well, I just wanted to. Most of the suspension parts were already RPM, and I went looking for RPM rear arms. you may have seen my trade thread, I ended up finding arms, but the 91 worlds style, Along with them came the 'non-telescoping' rpm kit, which is arm mounts and rear hubs .

Since I had the wrong arms, I went looking and found one of the guys on FB that had a nice pair for sale. So now I have RPM peices all around. Funny, I never knew that the RPM mounts had only a single set of screw holes, and they are centered in between the stock mount's dual pattern to adjust wheelbase.

I also whittled up a rear shock tower of out the texalium material. I was going to make the drag link as well, but this material is really thick, so the mockup one is some yellow g10 I have that I use for prototyping. I'll probably use some natural green/yellow material like the stock tower here.

Still need to make some steering upright pins, a rear trans brace, and I'll probably make some battery strap hold down nuts. Also need to figure out a front body mount of some kind.

Very nice that you sourced all the white rpm pieces. So does this mean your using the arm mounts from the 91 worlds with the original width rear arms ?
Or upon closer inspection of your pics are they from this ?

Really coming out fantastic 8)

Yes the rear arm mounts are quite unique. They are from the anti-telescoping kit. The mounting holes are placed in between the normal dual pattern on an associated mount. They can only be installed in one wheelbase, it's a 'middle' setting.

Thanks for the compliments. A couple minor things and she should be a wrap, until I find what kind of body I'm going to use.

Oh also I’ve been meaning to ask, is that rpm stealth trans the stock 2.25 ratio ? Was that available ? I do know of the 1.96 oval and the 2.65 T ratio units but was uncertain if the stock ratio was ever available.

The trans is this one is the 2.65 ratio. Supposed to be for a truck, but all the new buggies are doin' it so I don't feel bad. :D

It doesn't fit in a rpm world's buggy unless you do some serious trimming to fit around the arm mounts

I have some updates so I can finally add it to the BOTM contest!

Thanks to Markydents for a sweet piece to help RPM this thing a little further(rear bulkhead!), and Mike A. (Mikea96) for a sweet lid to help put the cherry on top!!

I pulled some vintage NOS tires out of the part bin to place on the wheels, the rear are unmarked prolines, and the front are some Team Associated rib tires, nothing fancy.
