I'm not surprised. As Gen X gets a little older, we're looking at the things from our past that we had, or wish we had, and are in a place to afford a little nostalgia. RC was huge in the 80's and 90's, so there's a bunch of us. The funny thing is, I didn't want to buy a rerelease when they came out, but I really do now for some reason. Only cost me about $1000 more than it would have back then :lol: :(

If you have good hunting skills you can find a new 6037 for less than a re-re. If you want a used runner, and you plan on racing it with modern electronics, then either will suffice since parts compatibility/availability is identical.
