Not much to offer except encouragement , I've been following this thread for a while and I sincerely admire your perseverance , this is clearly not a simple or easy thing but you are making good progress and this latest chassis looks like a big step , cost of materials affects us all in on way or another , just keep going :!:

Thanks. I hope that I can add to the community here and get people to try this. Compared to most other forms of making this is pretty low cost to start into.

Cost of materials and tools compare to just about making anything is reasonable. The fabric and epoxy aren't that bad cost wise considering making how many chassis and parts can be made. If I was being more patient I would be using S-glass fiber glass and the cost would plummet, like composite craft chassis. I would estimate I spent about $300 in materials, tools and chemicals at this point for all of the failures and successes. I just ran out of epoxy and that is only because of a spill. I have the fabric for many more chassis.

It’s strong and light but not as pretty as I had hoped for.

I have to remember to make a better template for the rear bulkhead screws.
The holes I drilled were 1.7mm to tall.
