I was thinking about making a pre-order with the local HobbyTown soon. But Amain currently has a $15 off coupon at the moment. They both show delivery by Nov. 5th. On the other hand, I really like visiting the local (100 mile round trip) hobby shop. Decisions, decisions.

Since Amain and Hobbytown work together, it'd be nice if they shared coupons and points.

RC Planet is in that circle as well.

Anything Schumacher, you should go to Phil at Discountrcstore.com.

BEST SERVICE EVER.

I'm sure Phil is great, but will have to pass if the cost is $69 more.

Same here. I did go there first, but they were 269 when AMain was 219. I am ok paying a little more to support them, but that was bit much.

If cost wasn't a consideration, I'd get everything through Muzzoom because Iain does so much to keep the old Schueys running (like MMS diffs, Bosscat parts, upgrades of his own design, etc.). The challenge there is shipping from the UK.

I finally ordered one since Amain has it for 209.99 and i had a VIP 15% off coupon that was about to expire. Looks like end of October for delivery but we will see.

Same here. Ordered mine this evening, finally. I've waited long enough. Hopefully by the end of October happens.

It is odd that the price keeps changing when they have no stock. I think this is just how they get everyone else to order so that I never get one

I just ordered a couple of extra bodies for the Cougar and and a couple for my Top Cat, plus a few bits direct from Schumacher. Shipping from the UK wasn't as bad as I feared. Or maybe inflation is so bad that no price shocks me anymore.

Any of you guys get yours up and running yet? I’m in the process of converting mine back to kit setup to bash around the yard with.

Asked Amain yesterday if there's an update on when they expect them in stock. They said kits have been shipped out and currently en route to Amain, so they should be shipping to customers by the end of the month.

My kits show "out for delivery" today. I am thinking of doing one stock and one resto-mod.

For the mod, I built the pro transmission last night. Big bore shocks are built. The 7.5 motor was a stupid decision, so I will have to "turn it down". I have carbon towers and will get ball-raced steering if it ever comes available again.

The stock one will probably get the 13.5 that currently powers my Top Cat. I am thinking it may be a fun exercise to keep the Cougar basically in kit form and try to match it with a modded TC.
