I'm a big fan of the Jconcepts finned turnbuckles. These are the slightly bulkier 3.5mm Ti units in black, fitted with Lunsford ends.
Lunsford and Jconcepts both make such impressive products. The appearance and finish of Lunsford titanium hardware is better than anything else in the RC market that I have seen.

Just FYI, RPM rod ends are thick enough to be opened up for 3.5 and 4mm turnbuckles.
Just in case you'd rather have black instead of the Lunsford grey.

^ Juicedcoupe - Thanks. Yeah, I have drilled out rod ends before for the 3.5mm turnbuckles. However, I actually like the grey of the Lunsford ends. It mixes it up a little.
For the rear end, I'm using a Trinity XX rear pivot block. It needs to be modified to work with the XX4. These blocks are great because they have threads that allow you to lock the hinge pins in place with a grub screw. The XX4 has a slight design flaw that allows the rear pins to pop out during roll overs. This is prevented with the Trinity block. I was planning on using a Rusti Designs rear pivot brace, just as double protection, but I haven't been able to find one.
I trimmed off the two outside holes in the rear tower, just as I did up front. It's s also backed with a Rusti cf tower brace.

I wanted to save these 2 new pivot braces if possible. I had this well used Trinity brace that was very ground down on the 2 lower corners. I wish I had taken a before picture. It looked trashed. I spent some time sanding, stripping, and polishing. It turned out pretty good and it should do the job until I can find a Rusti unit.

Losi aluminum drives with the beautiful light colored anodizing. I am using Exotek 22-4 hubs. It took a lot of trial and error, but I got the parts to all work together. The drives spin very free with zero slop.

I assembled the shocks from this pile of new parts and used shocks. I'm using XXX threaded bodies with gold shafts. Internal limiters and springs. I may be changing the springs.

Looking good man! What did you do about bearings with those rear hubs? isn't the 22-4 metric?
ps: if you end up looking to sell any of that older stuff xx4 let me know, looking to use my xx-4 again and could use some stuff. would be nice to put some threaded shock on it.

Thanks. I had to slightly thin the diameter of the axle over the length of the footprint of the hub bearings. I then installed the red slip coverings, which brought the diameter up to what I needed for the metric bearings. It took a lot of work but the result is great.
I will be sorting my XX4spares and let you know what I may be getting rid of.

Time for the fun stuff. I am using a Skektrum S6245 servo. It comes with a ridiculously short 2" lead. I was wondering how best to route the wire to the other side of the tunnel when I realized I could go straight through it. I notched 2 small openings the size of the wire. The fit is tight enough to keep out dirt, and now I don't need a longer lead. Plus it makes for clean wiring layout.
I'm using a Rusti aluminum servo mount.

Some Trinity goodness. Because this chassis isnt cut to allow the motor to sit lower, I couldn't use the motor mount I preferred. I considered cutting the chassis, but am going to hold off for now.
I was very happy to find a set of black tunnel plugs. These have gotten quite scarce.
I'm starting with a 13.5 Trinity Slot Machine motor.

I'm using an R1 Wurks super stock esc. In the interest of space and cleanliness, I changed out the stock capacitor for a smaller unit. I mounted it to the side of the esc body and covered it with a 1up Racing cf shelf.
I'm utilizing Trinity XXX swaybar mounts to clamp this Trinity XX4 swaybar. I still need to build the attachment ends.

Electronics are in place. The end result looks pretty simple, but it took a lot of back and forth trying to get everything wired as clean as possible.
I'm currently waiting on a couple small pieces before I can finish the build.

Looks sweet! How are you mounting the batteries? I just did a design for mine to mount a single shorty lipo if you need inspiration.
