While I have a few sets of RPM mounts, I don't like how they position the servo so high. I try to somewhat level the servo linkage and a higher mounted servo requires more spacers.
The hole spacing on the RPM mount mostly doesn't line up with all 4 servo flange holes at the same time, but RPM appears to be aware of that because only 2 servo screws are included.

Using 2 screws, the servo can be flush or higher.

Body is awaiting decals from Canada.

Changed the hub screws to titanium, because... titanium.
Added motor and electronics. Motor still needs a pigtail and 4 pin Dean's added.

The buggy is basically done, just waiting on the decals. I might go back and trim the motor plate more, but that can wait a while, I think.

I need to get some wing buttons and bend a wire, but otherwise this one is done. The MCI decal set is pretty nice and definitely was the finishing touch I needed.

A few final pics. The TRA2615 wing buttons are both inexpensive and nice. That's my preferred combination.

Awesome build...how long did it take?
Im not a buggy guy but this is killer. I love the slight transparency of the chassis and especially love the side braces!
I would take that beautiful chassis with the braces and....well you know where im going with this, right?
I would build a DS...

It took some portion of a seven year span to build..
I considered this chassis for my upcoming DS build, but I already have a slightly different plan...

The Tekin electronics have been bugging me, so I swapped them out for a Novak 410 M1C and NER2X. That should help me sleep better at night.

It's an upgrade for sure.

Although I have several Tekin esc's and receivers, I agree. Calling them finicky would be mild.
