Looks great.
Life long Tamiya collector here. We all need a Pumpkin or Lunchbox in our life.
Thanks for bumping this one back up! I need to get back to it. This model really does have a great look to it, with the chrome parts and the decals on. I've been trying to figure out if I need to do the full sand/primer/paint, or just leave it factory gloss, and put the decals on. That feels lazy, and I think I would be disappointed with the results.
Thought about it long enough, I'm going to do this one right, full sand/primer/paint. May be a bit before this one comes up though.
Couldn't agree more about everyone needing one of these. Have seen them driven, but have not driven one myself. Looks like fun.

Wet sand with 3500 grit sponge, wash and soak in Dawn, rinse thoroughly.
Tamiya non-Fine grey primer.
I'm thinking about painting this, not-black. I like the TS-102 Cobalt Green, like the Squash Van looks.
Will decide tomorrow.

Black is hard to get a good pic of indoors.
Will wait until tomorrow, and see if it needs any touch up.

Got some street slicks today.
Going to get a set of rims for these, for street runs.

Calling the Midnight Pumpkin, done. Finally got the wheels and tires I had been after.
