This is supposed to be a very special replica. Thank you. But...looking at it again...so close...but still not there. You got the front tires correct, why not the back?
Getting the correct style rear tire design and width should have been a priority (TA you can still get it right before it ships out!).
Agree with the need for ball bearings, and a pre-painted body (as a distant 2nd and 3rd).

this is the AE we live with now, we need to just be happy the car doesn't have green tinge parts and a dull gold chassis like those factory 2nds they sold last year.

Cool car, pre-bent bumper is neat, and nice you won't have to chase down the front wheels, but inexplicably looks like the decals aren't going to be any more accurate than what's currently available.
Though... has anyone noticed the complete disinterest the AE guys have for the re-releases. Each video they make is sprinkled with, "Why?", "Who's gonna buy this?", "People are still interested in these?", "I had no interest", on and on. Dismiss it as racers mentality but, it says something when the spokespeople for your company are making backhanded comments about the product in your own promotional videos.

I notice that as well but attributed it to humility. I reckon that downplaying the importance of these re-releases won't dampen enthusiasm or harm sales in any way.
Also, I was impressed by Jay's insistence to fully recognize those who supported him back in the day.
An October release still leaves some time before Christmas. I wonder if AE is saving the best for last -- although I have no clue what it will be.

A never been in production Masami race car is probably asking too much.
I feel like these newly added, out of stock items mean something.

A Masami version, even if its just one of his team cars (maybe with yokomo rear wheels?), would now seem like the next and possibly the final step. It would be the ultimate tribute, no one has won more on the biggest stage with the rc10 than him. With kinwald already having passed (RIP), that would leave the original worlds and rere worlds cars immortalized in the past as well. Just my opinion.........

While I agree that the next anniversary re-release (if there is one) would likely include long front arms, those arms require 0.71" shocks and AE continues to list them as discontinued. The five 2024 anniversary releases have include only the 0.56", 1.02" and 1.32" length shocks but not the 0.71".
The only parts that distinguish the shocks are the shaft and shock body and both would be easy to make for an 0.71" shock using existing bar stock with a simple CNC adjustment. As such, they're relatively short lead time items so maybe there's still hope for a long arm car.

AE had the stealth case halves pop up in a similar RC10 parts search earlier this year showing as discontinued, out of stock, unable to purchase, etc but with a projected in stock time just like these. Then shortly after the 10T came out the stealth case halves became in stock and available. It seems like this is how Associated does things right now.

I know the parts themselves tell the story for probably 99% of the members of this group, but I have to ask

What do you think the next kit will be given the newly-listed parts?

0.56 shocks work with the long arms, inner hole. Similar to Andy's arms. I think earlier CE cars were that way.

The late CE gold pan had a Viper body and a zebra mix of black and white nylon parts. It also had the 6 hole front shock tower. It could be that.

You are correct. According to the 25 Years of the RC10 thread, long (wide) arms first appeared with late production TQ (mid '89-'90) while the first 0.71 shocks didn't arrive until mid production CE ('90-'92). That said, I believe all Team Cars ('90-'94) came with long (teflon coated) shocks. So, for a period, AE was shipping some of their cars with long arms and short shocks. I haven't thought about this in a while but this is why my restored early Graphite and CE cars have almost no droop in the front suspension.
So AE could move ahead with a long arm re-re with parts on hand or on the way but I guess we'll just have to wait to see if that's the direction they take. ...again, assuming there is yet another re-re in 2024.

I definitely dont see them doing a CE arm .56 car, they will have .71 shocks its just a matter of time. The .56 CE arm cars were a fairly short run with 4 hole shock towers and I dont see them doing that again. They likely dont even remember it TBH. Id be betting on a CE or Team car, but they might shoot for a Worlds again. I just wouldn't bank on it.
