My brain wasn't working this morning...forgot it's the front screw holes that blow out, not the rears.

Almost just needs a one piece rear arm mount to tie the sides together.

1/8 inch bar stock bent in a U-shape to tie in both rear arms

Oh yeah, add a 3rd screw, AND use longer screws with nuts on top. Further add double sided tape between the arm mounts and the chassis. Together with tight screws the friction will be highly increased abs should spread the load more evenly.

A few years ago, Aaron sent me the chassis i posted on the previous page. The one mount hole was ripped out. I fixed the hole (later), but since I want to actually race it, I knew it wouldn't be strong enough. So, I made a mount that attached to the chassis in front of the bulkhead and jwscab made me a pair of longer inner hinge pins which go through that new mount. The stress is now off those small front holes. And since I use shorty lipos, the mount is not in the way.
