That thing is beautiful! I need that sway bar and wing mounts I see yours has the same LR hub as mine so it must be the correct one. The 51 car of Joel's appears to have a wider LR hub but the picture just isn't high quality enough to really tell. I imagine he had some parts unavailable to most as the car was always evolving.

I only ever ran one LSD car, and it was a wide 10LS with the Composite Craft LSD conversion. It was awesome on flat carpet but a well setup RHD car was just as quick, even a narrow one though they weren't as stable.

Looks like his car had staggered rear caps, would explain the hub difference. A local Trinity driver had a host of different hub widths for the Evo10 SS...so it's likely a one off on Joel's car

Another fantastic looking car! Definitely jealous. Mine is going to need a LOT of work to come anywhere near this!

Well, quick update. I was able to get the bearing off without severely damaging the axle. I purchased a small rubber mallet, taped up the axle, put the axle in a vice, and gently tapped on it. The bearing started moving with a few moderate taps. The bearing was definitely messed up. Even after I got it moving from its stuck position it didn't want to move. I had to tap it all the way off the axle and use a blunt punch to get it past the end of the axle. It obvious where the bearing was stuck to the axle, so I'll have to clean it up a bit. Regardless, its off now.

I'll start a separate restoration thread once I have a chance to get myself organized.

You can lightly sand the axle in that spot to clean it up, unless it's just in really bad shape. You have a new one on the way anyways

When you have time, can you check yours on the rear axle and see if it takes a 8-32 nylon nut? This new LSD axle I got, the nut that was on the other one now seems too large. The threaded part does appear to be smaller on the LSD axle just looking at it.

Thank you, that's what it appears to be in comparison to the one that came with mine. Off to find some 6-32 nylon nuts...
