Well, it's almost done, at least for now... I'm now searching for the missing Andy's parts (body, shock towers, steering rack and battery cup), holy graal

i responded to your pm a-man. pretty neat little andys you got there.

you might try and use some of the later-style rear spring cups that put the perch a tad higher on the shock and let you gain some clearance around the ball-end so the arms can swing all the way down without hitting.

The RPM cups will give you a little more too.

Hi guys, sort of a revival of this ooooooold thread. I managed to spot a "used usable" Andy's body recently. It does have the signature and I really think it was factory painted. It does have some cracks, but those are so hard to find that I will be happy with it until I find a nicer one (or I may lean it to someone who has a vacuum molding machine to make some repo's, but he'll need GREAT skills to make a good mold out of this). Personnally, it's the very first time I come across one of those and think it was designed to match the Andy's conversion chassis kit. I still have to try to put it on mine, but the body and the chassis are momentarily in two different places... Does anyone here have one in good shape? Jay?

Well, enough blah blah, here is a picture of it:

Asso_man, can you get a shot of the tranny/rear arm alignment? In assembling mine, the dog bones are swept forward, and if I remember right, you want the swept back for best performance (mine will be a runner/racer). Your top down shot almost shows what I am talking about.
