Did you like the handling of the car with Schumacher MiniPin? I also run on grass at my local club and every single driver uses Mini Spikes, hence my question... have you ever tried them too to compare?

Problem is: in Germany the Mini-Pin is one of the controlled 2WD tyres. Others are PL Hole-Shot, Panther IforgotTheName and LOSI X-2000.
I know that in the UK the Schuey Mini-Spike and the Ballistic tyres are used and should work much better.

OK, I understand now! Mini Spike tires surely do work better, when the grass is wet the mini pin ones must be a real nightmare!

They are! In the morning when the grass is wet you can dump the first qualifyer because of the lack of grip. The 4WD's are allowed to use LOSI Studs which helps a lot but in 2WD we only can use Hole-Shots or X-2000 - no good sustitutes ...

that is really ridiculous, where's the fun if you can't use tires that suit the track?

That's the problem with restricted tyres. I haven't run the Mini-Spike yet but the Mini-Pin do not work so bad to be honest. They become a bit tricky when the grass is fresh or starts to wear out but in the inbetween-conditions they work aweeesome.

As Michael said it is very easy to do and works perfect. After initial setup I did not had to do any adjustments.
