I own a BJ4WE and the car works pretty well. I am still working out some things with it and haven't raced it a whole lot.

I hear good feedback on the B44 and several folks are running the X5 conversion on the XX4. Very quick. Kyosho seem to do well. I think its all in the setup and the driver.

one of the MRC Factory drivers runs at my track and its still a WIP but I like the car. Esp. how the chassis can be config. for batteries. Im not a fan of saddle style, though I have 2 of the maxAmp saddles for my BJ4WE.

5 out of 6 guys out here run the b44 and they test the durability of them! They seem to hold up pretty well, I've seen one broken upper deck but the guy didn't have the newer version that's supposed to be stronger. The other 4wd at our track is an x factory sponsored guy, he is faster but his car also breaks a bit more often and requires a lot more routine maintenance. I don't like the saddle pack battery setup either, I would get the mrc car if they switched over to the wheels every other car on the market uses

Here in Australia the B44 has taken over. Not that i dont like the car but I always like to be different and spread from the masses. Thats why when Tamiya released the 501X I had to have it. Its fast, handles well and easy to drive on any track I turn up at. Also its belt driven much like all the good old 4WD's were. I like it!

I like shaft driven cars, like the DEX410, and cars with a center one way, like the XX4 and TRF501X,DB01.. but don`t like belts.
The b44 is very popular everywhere I think.

I'm putting Durango diffs in my B44.2 pretty easy mod if you have access to all the right gear.
Love the look of the xray xb4.
We get a pretty even split of manufactures, seems as though the losi is not well represented down here.

They're just fluid filled gear diffs, right? Plastic or alloy?

OR, if you are lucky enough like me, i have the ASC3938. http://www.teamassociated.com/pdf/discontinued_items/3938.pdf

I talked to a fellow Pro, and he said using it in racing is UN-necessary. I'll still hold onto it.

But the outdrives on that unit are too short to reach the dogbones, at least...in stock form.

or this

bit pricey but I think its ok, reason why I sold my B44 and got a DEX410.

My poor neglected SX3 Pro :( Ran the 410r (v1) prior to this and prefer the Cat. Like most of the Schumachers lately, it didnt last long before being replaced with a new model
