Sorry mrlexan, I might have made things seem confusing. The chassis you have there replaced the regular graphite chassis in the 6036 graphite stealth car in '94 following team associated's win at the '93 ifmar world's. The kit name and everything else was the same except for the chassis. Then the B2 came out in '95 so ofcourse they didn't sell to many of these special rc10 graphite stealth cars. Finding a complete kit would set you with the ultimate oringinal rc10 off-road buggy, but you have the next best thing, the obviously limited run replacement chassis.

carloco8 wrote:Hey badhoopty, have you been able to rule out any of the chassis manufacturers that couldn't have made it. I really have no clue as to who made it because woven-graphite double decker chassis are super rare, usually you just see the lamenated graphite chassis/double deckers.
of the 2 i have i asked both sellers who made them, one said it was rpm, (and i 99.9% doubt that), and the other said:

"...it was a colorado based company that made them during the early 90's. The company was Brian Geesy & Co. He sold several chassis at National events and many locally. It is one of a kind. Thanks for your purchase and enjoy!"

anybody know of that company? brian geesy & co?

The more that get cut up out there only adds to the value of Asso_man and mrlexan's clean pieces.

for real now, NONE of you guys know where this darn chassis came from?

i've got 2 for pete's sake, and i bought them at seperate times from different ebayers, so they had to be at least a little popular back in the day. from the looks of it, they were designed to look like the 91 worlds, so any of you guys with rc mags from around that time dont remember any ads or anything?

i'm starting to think maybe i got the only 2 ever made...
