It's very nice but on the tack what is difference between this model ans and Standard RC10..

For finish you A&L RC10 it's necessary to find a gear box A&L.

Great Looking conversion. Looks really good with those wheels. I have not run the A&L trailing arms so I don't know if they perform any better than the stock a-arms but I love the way they look. I was not aware that there was a specific body for these conversions. Does anyone have a pic?

Most people do one of 3 things using standard RC10 body:
1. Run the .71" stroke shocks, and drill the stock rear shocktower to accept the upper shock mount brackets.
2. Hack the body off at the rear shocktower, reverse the rear body mount and run the A&L rear tower.
3. Leave everything alone and monut the body as is and live with the gap at the bottom of the body.

I purchased one of the A&L bodies that Daryl said they used to run on these chassis', but it turned out to be more like a standard Proteck height in the rear. Sorta dont know what to do, as I dont like option 1-3 above. The funco looks a little taller in the back, kinda hoping it would work.

Thanks for the information. Does the A&L body look much different then the protech? I just don't think I have ever seen one. Also, if that is your buggy with the funco body I would love to see more shots of it. Very sharp.

Also, the Funco belongs to Tak/aka kustomizerz (I think that username is right). He had a thread or a post that had some more pics of it. I have the original molds for all the Funco series and as soon as I figure out a method, either my own or through Erich, they will be available.

When I built my A&L, I used a stock AE rear shock tower and mounted the body over the top of the tower. I used shorter rear shocks too. This looked nice but I wasn't feeling it. So I hacked off the rear of the body and used the A&L tower. I didn't use the A&L rear body mount as it doesn't fit between the shock mounts unless you modify it. So, I made my own rear body mount. This is how mine turned out:

I am working on my own A&L project but have not gotten to the body yet so I was unaware of the mounting issues.

The Funco bodies are sweet. Hopefully someday you will be able to pull some bodies from the molds. Are there two variations of the Funco? Seems like I have maybe seen one that looked slightly different.

Well a slight update on this car. I got the Funco body made availablr from Mr. Lexan. Fits the car beautifully. Problem is, I need a wing for it, and I am having trouble finding one that I feel looks right.

Anyway, whether this looks right on the car after I get it mounted, I have yet to see. I had some free time at work and tried my hand at some aluminum work. Tell me what you think.
