I think the Daytona must be the hardest of the Schumachers to find bits for. In 2 years i've managed to find 1 part..

I see your Daytona bits, and raise you a Nitro 4x4 manual...... or Celica bodyshell...
Daytona bits aren't that hard to find... front end is all 10L after all

. I have most specific parts now, so really should pull my finger out and get this one built.

I've plenty 10L parts, just the Daytona specific bits that i never seem to see. The only bit i have is a NIP bumper..
I wonder just how many of these were actually made, and for how long. I've a few magazines from the time and it seems they were slated in the UK, maybe that and the fact that the 4wd cars came into the class killed them off quickly.

Nitro 10s didn't really have much in the way of stickers.... or decals either, for that matter
Think I have that sheet as well.... also have the later sheet, which is mostly the same, but with more fluoro colours......
That boxed Daytona would look great on my shelf

Yes, it´s the stickers that came with the box - a bit rude, not even a single "Daytona" patch.
Do You guys know, which body was the most commom for it?

From memory, there was no shell.... you just picked up a 235mm Pro10 body and went with that. Most of the magazines seemed to go with a Nascar body, if memory serves correctly...

Thanks -
Since I´ve chosen bigger wheels, I guess it´ll be a bit of a problem to find a suitable Nascar body.

So a few years ago I came across RC10 Talk and this was one of the cars Schumacher made I was unware of. I though it must be a US focused release so I was surprised to come across the following review from race car magazine in October 1992.
Dennis that kit is simply stunning so jealous I hope you haven't built it and Alex how is the project going?

Quick update to bump my thread back into this half of the decade.....
Got this in the mail this morning....
Have added many extra parts, bodies, another chassis plate, and the DAYTONA INSTRUCTION MANUAL since my last update.... so will definitely have to do a group shot some day soon. Have (I think) all the parts I need to do my build, but will probably get some reproduced bracket parts made up first.

You and me both, mate.... I always had trouble with controlling electric 10Ls back in the day, so fully expect the Daytona as a nitro to be a little more planted, and easier to control. I will get at least one running as a nitro some day.... just to experience it for myself. Then maybe build an electric one as well, for the fun of it
