The bodies are the first things to go. I may keep the bug if it's in decent shape, but the Vette is going.

On the contrary: quite a few folks looking for the VW and the vette is the same one used in the clint eastwood deadpool movie on a gold tub rc10. Should be plenty intrest for that also.
If he can sell them well these shells'll pay for the buggy and shipping.

911 and I talked about this just after he won it. I can't believe how low it went for. I saw it at the last min. but just couldn't pull the trigger due to lack of funds.

I almost feel bad for the seller but its his own fault for putting those FUGLY bodies on it. If it were just the chassis it would have probably went for 2+ times that.

i don't see how the bodies had anything to do with it. to start with, his title description was friggin' horrible. because of that, only 179 people visited his auction during the entire 5 day listing. calling a yokomo RS-4 didn't help him much either.

Now that part in the movie was flippin awesome!!! I remember asking my Dad if I could make a bomb for my LXT and blow it up, lol. Glad that I didn't continue that venture.

Thanks, that was a good laugh. I loved that scene when I was a kid.
