J/K...I can't play the bass or drums and sure wouldn't want to miss this new era of RCtalk.com subforums. It sure looks good so far.Keep up the great work guys.

hey guys, i added a "Regional Races/Get Togethers" forum in the general section. if you have info for upcoming races, or if you just want to try and get some guys together to do some bashing, post it up in there.

personaly off topic chit chat sucks. what do i care about some buying their shoes or whatever!!! lets just stick to r/c talk. u wanna talk about that type of stuff go to myspace or something!

that's the whole reason for the off topic forum. so topics like that are not in with the rc related stuff. all i can say is that if you don't like it, don't go in it. since day one, members have been able to talk about pretty much whatever they want, so that not gonna stop now.

Now I am going to have to disagree with hugger. I personally think that off topic stuff is a key ingredient to making this place, like I mentioned in another thread, a community rather than just a forum. It allows you to get to know people, who they are and what they are all about, not just there RC interests. If you don't like reading non RC stuff, then hey, don't read it.

Dear Hugger. Your talking smack again about a topic I started on a message board I started. Stop it. If you don't like Off Topic, don't go in there. If you want to talk about r/c stuff, there's about a dozen other forums on this board you can do that in. Now kindly shut up about it.

10talk is both the best and worst thing to happen to my love for the rc10. it's good 'cause i've met some really good people and its becoming a good source for vintage buggy information, but bad because i blame it for the freaking INSANE jump in the value of the darn things over the years...

i like the change, but the new board freaks me out everytime i bring it up. it just feels too big.... i was really comfy with the old sections, as we all were, but it honestly would have turned into a huge mess in the future if the dudes (i'm the slacker of the group and i take no credit) hadnt taken the time and re-organized all the posts into more specific forums.

ok guys, all of the topics that were in the locked non-rc10 forum have been moved to their new homes. sorry it took so long.

Question if I may: Where should vintage non car stuff go in the new structure? For example collections of old speedos, transmitters, motors, etc. The Tech Forum is listed as and has been discussed as being for new stuff, like Spektrum and brushless. Other Makes/Models doesn’t seem right either, at least to me, but perhaps that’s it?
