I'll talk to the owners of the 2 local tracks for a midsummer's race, do you guys prefer indoor on a pretty small track or to race outdoor? the outdoor track is more fun and not much of a parts breaker, it would be an additional class to the 1/8th scale and gas stuff if you have those to bring out too

I prefer outdoor, but I wouldn't be against indoor either. Indoor would be more of a sure thing. It would really suck to drive that far and then get rained out or something.

I would quite agree! I don't drink much in the way of hard liquor except for good rum, even then not a heavy drinker. Give me a good micro brew and I'm all over it. Better yet is a good barley wine (beer with an ABV above 10% ). One thing I've not had yet but piques my interest is mead (fermented honey "beer" ).

I've got a local wheat whine that is 13.5%. It was brewed last February and put on tap about a month ago. A portion was aged in an oak whiskey barrel, the rest was left in the stainless steel tank. The brewer combined the two and it made for a wine with a healthy whiskey aroma, yet very light whiskey flavor notes, something that other whiskey barrel aged wines don't have. My all time favorite barley wine was the '05 from my local pub.
Keep in mind, barley wine is just like any other beer or grape based wine, it's all in the taste buds of the beholder. I'm a malt man, so I like sweeter, maltier brews and barley wines as opposed to the hop side of things. The one thing above all else is that I can appreciate a good brew, whether or not I like it, I know when it's well crafted.
