got the roll cage back tonight from the powdercoater, finally. Mounted up the body & wing. bolted in the cage. coming along nicely. Next is paint, and gotta get decals (hint jay lol), if ya dont have the time just hook me up with one of the original sticker sheets, let me know your PP there. Working on the vinyl masks now for the body. cant seem to find some really fine particle metallic paint, faskolor seems really "sparkly", probably gonna need to mix my own

If you have Gene Husting's R/C Car Racing Videos #15, he talks about the car in the ad for 5 mins and has a close up shot of the car and has it slowly turning on a turntable. As soon as I figure out how to convert parts of this DVD to Youtube, I'll post the entire clip.

got some paint laid down here FINALLY! lol. i know its not alot too look at without stickers but waiting to hear from mrlexan to see if he hopefully has some decals left.. but if anyone has a spare/not needed sheet let me know pls. gotta lay the black "body panel" stripes still and paint the gear cover, but im almost done.

Very nice work Mike! Great attention to detail and spot on with replicating it. I've always liked the way that buggy looked in those ads, looks tough .

will be there, dont know if ill be running, but ill be there saturday at least to come down, ill bring down some cars.

That turned out very nice. I think that was my favorite rc10 ad. Does anybody know if the original car is still around?
