Jay bro that is hot! I just got back from vacation in the Dominican Republic and I thought it was hot there till I seen that. With a week away from the board, I see I have a lot of reading to catch up on but I can't wait to get my hands on that chassis.

Very nice work scr8p. Very very nice. Are you gonna cut and buff it too? Then it will really shine!

i thought about it, but i only put 1 good coat of clear on it. it was getting kinda heavy, before i cleared it, between the primer and basecoat. so, i figured 1 was good enough. it still looks good.

not that it really matters, since joey's gonna take it to the track and beat the hell out of it anyways. :P :P

should i send ya some protective film too, joe?

Looks totally awesome man. I love the OG design on the side. Your becoming something of a chassis specialist. First graphite repair, now this, what's next?

Jason, what's next..... starting making some of your own tooling to stamp your own. I think that is a heck of an idea.

Looks awesome Dude!

The RC10talk.com stickers are on there way to me. Whom should I send them to? I assume that you want black to go with the chassis Jason painted?

Hoop, I need your mailing address for the remainder of them.

Jay

Jay that looks amazing! I've been trying to figure out where to go with it but I think I'm going to pull out my white parts and go totally stock with it. Something else I was thinking about doing was one of two things. I tutor elementary school kids from time to time. These are the underprivliaged kids who stay after school while their parents (usually single parent homes) are usually still at work. I was thinking of bringing it to the school and showing it to the kids, I think they would get a huge kick out of it and I love the idea of maybe introducing a whole new generation to the hobby. I was reading a post here today, I think it was Doug's post where his brother and he learned a lot of what they even use today from the hobby and I can so relate to their experience. The other thing I was thinking about was auctioning it on ebay (especially with the crazy ebay prices lately) and donating the money to some worthy charity. I got this idea from Jay's graciousness and though I would maybe pass that on to someone who really needs it. What do you guys think? I'm still up in the air about what to do with it so please, any input would be welcomed. Again, my sincerest thanks Jason, I really appreciate it.

send me the parts, and i'll paint them any color you want.

i've also been thinking of getting a setup so i can do powder coating and anodizing. if i can find a descent size oven for a descent price, i think i'm gonna. right now, that's all that's really keeping me from doing it.
