Seen that, think I will get that one next. I have an old Kyosho Spider that's 200mm that would look right with that body.

Try ebay. I think theres a store on there, JR-RC (in Japan) and they usually have a couple ABC Hobby bodies available.

The Dollar rate and post to here kills his stuff for me, last lot I got was through CS hobbies in HK, 2 days to UK one postage for 6 of the countryman full kits, and still came in 20% under ABC list price, but selling the other 5 to make it worthwhile was a pain :(

i love TA02s lol

yours is sweet, i love the black gear boxes..
this ta02 was the last rc car i ever got new.. and bearly started modding it about 5 years ago... and theres still some trick stuff i want to get for it, but its becoming a shelf queen. I actually did a stupid mistake of spraying motor cleaner while the engine was still in the car thinking i could shoot it real quick, but i got it on the red gear boxes and it ruined the finish, so i spray painted the gear boxes to restore the look, but still not as good. I would love to replace the rear gearboxs or swap to black ones. Where did you get those pieces?

Heres mine.

Mine was also the promarkt dtm mercedes hahah. I still have the box and instructions somewhere. but i use a 350z body on mine now. I somewhat love these cars, before the low profile onroad chassis touring cars of today.. I still want to source a FF01 i think those would be cool to have.

They still make some trick parts for these, like this all aluminum kit

Thanks.
The TA02 is classic, I also want an FF01 too. I'm sure Tamiya will get around to Re-releasing some soon, I hope. The gearboxes are from the Hummer kit. They are readily available on the Bay. I kinda put this build on the backburner to work on other builds, but should have it finished and running by next week.

Good to see there's a market for FF01s.... I'll be selling my VW New Beetle FF01 soon, as just picked up another one in a lot..... and I'm sure I can probably build one out of parts..... so when I list them up for sale, I hope to see all your hands up!!!!!

Oooh, I've got an FF01 Renault Clio with the HPI chassis conversion. I had a great time racing that thing in the late 90's. It's still nice enough to be in the living room display cabinet. :D

Finally got back around to messing with this one. I painted the bumper with a $3 can of Plastikote chrome and I am impressed. It makes the diamond plate look real. Will mount lights when paint cures.

I decided it needed a driver so I'm using an old Parma interior I found at my LHS dirt cheap. I know its for a race car but oh well, it's going in the Datsun.
